Book Boss: How You Could Own Your Own Bookstore

Since 1981, Jan's Paperbacks has served the reading needs of the Aloha/Beaverton/Hillsboro community. Owner Debbie has decided to retire and pass on the reins to keep this community gem vibrant and relevant. We want to find someone with the passion and capabilities to continue nurturing and growing this important community asset. Bookstores are central to a community's ability to maintain a sense of identity and connection.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in owning their own business. The store has great potential, and with the new development going on at TV Hwy and Cornelius Pass Rd/209th, this is a great time to be growing the store.

Jan's is turn-key. The technology, inventory and furniture are all here and in place. Owner Debbie is willing to stay of for a while to help with a smooth transition and our marketing/events coordinator is also willing to stay on. There is plenty of room to put your own mark on the business and create a successful, as well as, fulfilling venture. The customers are great as well as loyal.
